- Use stock photos and call it custom photography. Bait-and-switch at scale.
- Over-retouch faces to plastic. Skin texture stays human; product details get polished.
- Skip the brief. Beautiful photos that don't match the brand are expensive decoration.

- Use black-hat tactics — link farms, PBNs, fake reviews, content cloaking.
- Generate AI-spam content. Every page is written or edited by a human on our team.
- Send vanity-metric reports. We report on leads, qualified pipeline, revenue.
- Take on work outside our actual capacity — we'll tell you upfront if we're full.

What types of photography do you handle?
Five categories. (1) Product photography — flat-lay, lifestyle, e-commerce hero shots for D2C and retail. (2) Brand + lifestyle — team, founder, behind-the-scenes, brand-narrative imagery. (3) Event photography — launches, conferences, weddings (Kerala-specific category), grand openings. (4) Corporate / portrait — leadership headshots, team photos, office environment. (5) Food + F&B — restaurant menus, packaging, lifestyle around food. We don't do specialised categories that need different gear (wildlife, sports action, fashion runway). Honest scope.
How much does professional photography cost in Kerala in 2026?
Real ranges. Half-day commercial shoot: ₹5-25K range (Adsomia's startup tier sits at ₹15K). Full-day commercial: ₹10-50K range (Adsomia's founding offer ₹25K, list ₹35K). Wedding photography (Kerala-specific category): ₹30K-1L+ per day depending on package. Premium / cinematic shoots with extensive crew + multi-location: ₹75K-3L per day. Travel costs + post-production are usually inside the day rate; drone, multi-cam, and outstation work quoted separately.
How many edited photos do I get?
15-30 final retouched shots per half-day shoot; 30-50 per full-day. We shoot 5-10× the final count and select the strongest set in collaboration with you. Additional retouching beyond the standard count: ₹400-800 per shot depending on complexity. We don't believe in the 'we'll send you 500 unedited shots and you pick' model — selection + editing is part of the craft.
How long until I receive the edited photos?
Standard: 5 working days from shoot day to final delivery. Express turnaround (2-3 days) available at 30% premium when scope warrants — typically for event shoots or product launches needing fast turnaround. Slower delivery (8-10 days) sometimes happens for shoots that need extensive retouching (food, jewellery, premium products) — flagged at scope sign-off so there are no surprises.
Do I own the photos after the shoot?
Yes — usage rights transfer to you on final delivery. You can use the photos indefinitely across all channels (website, social, ads, print, OOH) without coming back for additional licensing fees. Adsomia retains the right to use selected images in our own portfolio (with client permission, never anonymous client work as 'ours'). Editorial / commercial sub-licensing to third parties (you reselling the photos) needs separate negotiation.
Can you shoot photo + video on the same day?
Yes — and it's the most cost-efficient approach when you need both. Single shoot day with photo + video crew sharing locations, lighting, talent, and props is materially cheaper than two separate shoot days. We coordinate the crew (DOP + photographer + assistants), the schedule, and the post-production handoff so the brand language stays consistent across stills and video. Combined day rates: ₹45-95K depending on crew size + scope.
Do you handle wedding photography in Kerala?
Yes — Kerala wedding photography is its own category with its own conventions (multi-day events, large family groups, religious ceremonies with specific cultural protocols). We handle wedding photography for couples who want brand-photography-grade quality rather than traditional Kerala wedding-photographer aesthetic. Pricing typically ₹50K-2L+ per wedding depending on day count + location + crew + delivery scope.
What gear + crew comes on a typical shoot?
Full-frame mirrorless or medium-format camera (Sony A7R V, Fuji GFX, or equivalent) + 3-5 prime + zoom lenses + continuous + strobe lighting + reflectors + light shaping modifiers. Crew: 1 lead photographer + 1-2 assistants for full-day; 1 photographer + 1 assistant for half-day. Brand-photography shoots add a stylist if needed; food shoots add a food stylist (specialised role). Drone (DJI Mavic 3 typical) is an add-on at ₹8-15K per shoot day.
